I'll try to sneak an hour off from work (this being a very busy month with end of school and all) to try out my 3 new Glock magazines.
Did I tell you they just happened to come with the new Gen4 G34 that I just happened to buy yesterday using my GSSF discount? Had to sell my XD9 to raise the funds, but I think it's going to be well worth it. That G34 is very nose heavy. Can't wait to try a "Bill Drill" with it. Now having two different models, means I can enter twice in Indoor League, plus it makes me more competitive in the outdoor matches, especially the Competition Division.
If you're curious, and I know you are, the GSSF price is $507. I could have also played my 10% off card from the range, but that would have meant the store would have lost money. Dealer cost is $490. I like my relationship with my range, so I'll save my discount for later. Besides, now they feel like they owe me another free transfer. They never charge my friends who shoot with me for range time and I've never paid for any targets I use.

Awesome. A G34 is what I would like to purchase next. Need to update my GSSF membership. There is a shoot in Indy first of July.

Wow ! $500 for 3 magazines ?
They darn well ought to include a free pistol. ;D

Excellent job Alfsuave! :o

Thanks, Ping. I'll check when I go back for the next stage, but I think that was high score for that course of fire that night. Don't know why my single handed shooting was "right-on" but it felt good. The planets must have been aligned on the opposite side of the Earth to help me keep a steady grip.
Of course now I have don't have an excuse for anything less than 500 when the COF is both hands. ;D Oh the pressure.

to help you spend more money on your G34....add Heinie fixed rear, and Dawson .280" tall front to get it to shoot low enough... and if you have small hands a JP Enterprises mag button, one piece stainless guide rod and IMSI spring.... I love to give help to improve the economy.... ;D 147grain bullets...

Thanks, Les, I may try a taller front sight, but I'm pretty happy with the package as is. Of course, I'm not shooting IPSC or IPDA with it either, so mag changes aren't critical.
I put fiber optics on my G17 and my consider doing the same with the 34. After the July match at River Bend though.

alfsauve... do you get down to shoot the matches at South River, between McDonough and Conyers....if you do, petition them to hold the Area 6 3 gun match again this year... thanks

Sorry les, I don't get down there. Don't have any connections that would help.
