Please No Bee-Gees jokes...For those old enough to know,...these brothers put there time and hard knocks in as musicians, from the early 60's. Took it to another level of a musical genre, and millions of record sales over the decades back it up... When they first came out, they were folk/acoustic not disco,...
It is noteworthy achievement. There is only one Gibb left....He fought the fight, went through a coma, recovered enough, to go home and die with his friends and family at his home....
We should all be so lucky.

One of the most well-known and beloved pop trios in history is down to a single member after Robin Gibb died of colorectal cancer on Sunday at the age of 62. His brother, another member of the band, died in 2003.
“Saturday Night Fever” and the group’s 1979 album “Spirits Having Flown” yielded six No. 1 hits, “making the Bee Gees the only group in pop history to write, produce and record that many consecutive chart-topping singles,” according to the Hall of Fame.
They were far from disco in the early days...
RIP Robin Gibb....

Their music could easily be satirized, but my Dad in particular loved it, tried to get me and the ex going to the disco every week! We even played a BeeGees album graveside at his funeral.
Not everyone's taste, but a musical powerhouse in their day, very true. RIP Brother Gibb.

Hated the music of the Bee Gees but they earned their keep!
RIP Mr. Gibb!

Of course you know where they started their musical career dont you?
Its something we aussies dont formally admit too, but alas its true. Their parents "poms" emigrated here in the 50's.
Although they had succes here they returned to england in 67 and launched the Phenomenon that became the Bee Gees.
Sadly only one is "stayin alive" these days.

Ah, ah, ah, ah stayin' alive... What too soon?
Just kidding! RIP Robin, even though I am not a disco guy.

If you are over 50 get the colonoscopy, or at least the fecal occult blood cards

That's sad. I hate to say it but that family has an almost Kennedy like curse on them. At least medically.
