Title: Who will be next POTUS?
Post by: Rastus on May 27, 2012, 08:22:24 AM
Congressman and Senators, with the exception of select districts where IQ is low, are pretty smart guys and gals.  They generally excelled in school as they excel in stuffing their pockets and gaining power over others once elected.  I don't think the mass of them are stupid enough to kill the goose that laid the golden egg.  Judges who legislate leftward from the bench...same thing, they are/were pretty smart cookies growing up.  Administrators like mayors, governors...the president, again no dummies.

So, with the debt out-of-control and a crash inevitable what are the gains?  There are no gains for you and I...only the elite leadership.  What do they gain?  Wealth and power...yep, that's it.

To crash the US and form something else that's Marxist/Communist/Socialist in nature (actually a smokescreen for "royalty" that consolidates wealth and power in the hands of a few) how better than to kill the economy?

Our leaders get all the wealth to dole out bits and pieces as they see fit.  They have the power....we see their intoxication with it in how they are attempting succeeding in telling us how we can live our lives and what we can do and what we can do it with.

A lot of you out there don't think it can get worse than this...it can...mostly you are younger in age so ponder this, "How can you miss ice cream if you've never eaten it?"  It can and will get worse if we let it and it will touch every aspect of your life.  Something I learned yesterday is about the Russian Toy dog breed.  It's actually a Heinz 57 dog because Stalin decreed their was no use for toy dogs so their could be no breeding or ownership....owners went underground and bred whatever they had with what they could find.  I'm not debating the use of a toy dog, but the fact that a socialist/marxist/communist government put in place of the government we are losing will be intrusive in ways we cannot imagine must be realized by all if we are to prevail.

I disagree that Congress is intelligent!  There was a report out this past week that puts their speech patterns at or below the 10th grade level.  They get a pass from the misinformed, stupid and incompetent voter!

I firmly believe that the electorate in this country is one of the more ignorant parts of the equation!  The information is out there, they're just to lazy to do some research.  I live within a family that's preoccupied with what's for dinner each day and put little thought into what the future brings.  One is so stupid she can't balance a checkbook or use an ATM card.  During the last election she asked who to vote for, I told her to vote for McCain and for the next week she bitched at me because he didn't win!

.....

I should have said the leadership "behind the scenes".  A lot of them are that stupid...like the idiot who thought an island would tip over if heavy military equipment was put on it.  However, those are the pawns...not the players.

Yes, the real players are smart enough to claim plausible deniability, hide behind the curtain and pull the strings.  It's a f*@king game that's costing the country dearly!  They're a cancer.....

We have a membership here that breaks down into roughly 2 groups, under 45 and over 45.
Consider the country the 50 + group was born into.
Industrial and military leader of the world.
Putting a man on the Moon.
Defend any Friend, oppose any foe.
Ask not what your Country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.
Compare that to the country the under 45's were born into.
Hell no, we won't go.
If it feels good do it.
What's in it for me.
Malaise.
Advancement based on race and gender instead of ability.

I could go on, it's been a long process ,but "America" died years ago, we are simply in the no mans land between the Republic and the dictatorship.

In addition to what you added, the younger group was fed either disinformation on our National History or had serious ommissions in the presentation of our National History to change outlooks and attitudes.

It worked.  The younger group will defend "what they know" when the foundation of that knowledge in critical aspects and items is based on lies and deception intended to manipulate.  They don't even know it happened.

Heck, they don't even know what socialism/communism/marxism really is and how evil it is.  They were fed a mix of truth, omission and lie for a sweet deception they don't have the understanding to recognize.

+1 Tom.

Since Woodrow Wilson, those that would provide a "gov't" FOR the people instead of BY the people has infiltrated all aspects of cultural society.

They started with unions, education, and the poor and minorities. Those folks WANT MORE GOV'T... Too many examples to reference.

The entitlement aspect of America is now about half the population..and Congress critters of both parties to be the "provider", has led us down a path to ruination.

I, like others here weep for our Nation. But am pissed that we are getting what we deserve from the lazy, complicit, and sheeple mentality that makes up those that "Won't have to worry about gas, and mortgage pmts no mo''"....

Where's my Obama Money? Posted again because its a freakin headshot on our Nation.

I didn't vote in your poll yet Rastus....I'm still wondering how in the hell Obama won the nomination over Hillary four years ago!

I'm hoping that he falters and some of the news I'm reading holds hope that he is doing just that but I'm not going to try and predict the outcome this time!  Too many things can change!

I got a kick out of George Will calling Trump a "bloviating ignoramus" today though......Mittens should keep his distance!

I sick of the crap.
I'm sick of being able to understand exactly what is happening and hearing cowards tell me, "Well, you need to get out and vote" when we all know the game is rigged with illegal aliens, paid off drones, and dead democrats making informed votes worthless.
I'm sick of seeing the population played for chumps, and half of them liking it.
I wish it would all just fall apart.
Blood in the streets, bodies hanging from lamp posts, famine, atrocity, and epidemic.
Throw in some extreme weather, blizzards in Fla., category 5 hurricane in the Northeast and tornadoes and earth quakes every where else.
It's not as bloodthirsty as it sounds.
Every one knows the system has gone beyond broke to being a sad joke.
But every body is afraid of the cure.
The sooner we have a total collapse with it's attendant shortages, and anarchy the sooner we can begin rebuilding the Republic.

I don't think we have the foundation to rebuild from scratch.  I have thought since the mid-70's that a total economic collapse would be good medicine to get the country on the right track.  But since the early-mid 90's I think that we lost the foundation to know what is good government and a collapse will bring out the same kind of crap that the drones in Europe slave to.  If you've never had ice cream how can you miss it?
