I was visiting Black Mountain, NC this past weekend and noticed the local constabulary had a copy of Recoil on his dashboard.

Got to get me a copy and see if it's worth subscribing.

I have the first 2 issues. It is what Esquire, Men's Health, Sports Illustrated, Gunas & Ammo, Trekking, Backpacking, Mall Ninja Monthly and a bunch of other magazines all together would be. If you focused on guns and gear and took out the naked women (  :( ).

It is an awesome, high production values magazine - they did an up close and personal interview with Travis Haley (formerly of Magpul) in the last issue - and the new issue (#3) is due out next week. You might still be able to grab #2 on the stands. The local B&N had 3 copies left earlier tonight.

I hate being advertised to.

There is a lot of gloss to those pages.
