Title: Great Olympian Story
Post by: MikeBjerum on July 04, 2012, 11:45:52 PM
Every time the Olympics, summer or winter, roll around I hope to catch the shooting sports.  This year is no different, and tonight I found a great video:

Next Monday we start our annual Firearm Safety and Hunter Education course here in town.  Every year I stress the opportunities available through shooting sports.  How many competitive sports can you compete at at age 43?  In past events I have read of competitors into their 50's that compete at a quality level.

Time to start the searches for Olympic coverage and times of shooting events!

Look at David Tubb and Phil Hemphill they are retiree's and still wooping butt every year at the NRA police matches .

The Tubb 2000 (also known as the T2K) rifle is produced in the United States by the McMillan Brothers Rifle Company. It was designed by 11-time NRA Highpower Rifle Champion David Tubb

They may be old coffee swilling donut munchers, but they are athletes in the same category as  Lance Armstrong.
