This admin. is so flagrant and even boasting about their Communist beliefs.

This is pretty shocking stuff from a cabinet secretary.
Echoing the laments of pundits like Thomas Friedman of the New York Times, U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood argued Saturday that China outpaces the United States in building major transportation infrastructure like high-speed rail because of its authoritarian system and because the Chinese don't have the Republican Party holding up progress.
"The Chinese are more successful [in building infrastructure] because in their country, only three people make the decision. In our country, 3,000 people do, 3 million," LaHood said in a short interview with The Cable on the sidelines of the 2012 Aspen Ideas Festival on June 30. "In a country where only three people make the decision, they can decide where to put their rail line, get the money, and do it. We don't do it that way in America."

Yep, Ray.....Just Three People Decide in China......Very efficient when you think about it...

You wonder about that picture. Was her death sentence due to the fact she couldn't conceive a son?
Should have let MacArthur do his finest work on the Chinese!
To the OP...LaHood is a douche...

Last I heard LaHood's son was being held hostage by the Egyptian Govt that BO helped put in place.

Why are any of you surprised by this ?
There have been a couple of BO's czars and advisers who have openly stated their communists beliefs and belief in Maoist teachings, not to mention that all the influences in BO's life have been communists.
I have been ridiculed for opposing BO's policy of drone strikes against US citizen members of Al Queda, how is this any different other than it may not be a group you don't like ?
You can't have it both ways, if it's OK to blow up a citizen without a trial for fighting for what he thinks is his Islamic faith, then it's perfectly acceptable, and the next logical step, to shoot any one else the administration doesn't like.
I was excoriated for posting that the Govt murder by drone of US citizen AQ members was wrong.
The general theme was "You suck for defending terrorists".
One question.
How does DHS classify YOU ?
-
I know one thing Tom, The Jackboot thugs at the DHS have BLATANTLY made it clear that they classify us as "domestic terrorists"!

Not being a sycophant by any stretch but I agreed with you on that one! ;D

OK, while an idiot, LaHood does have a bit of a point though. We COULD have the best public transportation system in the world, an oil pipeline to get oil from Canada, or any number of public infrastucture projects (jails, waste management, power distribution, ect) completed and under budget by just saying "We are building HERE". Is it the right way to do it, no. To many people want better commuter rail and less auto traffic but as soon as a railline is proposed "Not In My Backyard." Jails are so full we are forced to cut sentences short but another facility is on the docket, "NIMBY" Since it has to move , it has to be redesigned, meaning it costs more and takes longer. Then if it's a long distance rail or power line and goes between States and has to be approved by the States and every local-yocal mayor and county commisioner in its path. If one says no, it ALL starts over again.

Yeah, and Mussolini made the Italian trains run on time for the first time EVER!!!! So what?
Lahood is also ignoring the fact that the Federal .gov is one of the biggest, if not in fact THE biggest obstacle to getting anything done, what with laws, regulations, czars, EOs, etc.
Wasn't Lahood the name of the villain in the Pale Rider movie?
