The wife and I had business in a neighboring town today and as usual, I went to sporting goods to check the ammo stock (which wasn't much).
The first thing I noticed that was shocking was that they had a decent (for a B.F.E. wally world) selection of BLACKHAWK! products, from holsters to defensive shotgun stock kits and a few AR accessories.
So I went around the next aisle and there they were......three (count 'em, 3) Evil Black Rifles...... two were .223's and one was a S&W M&P .22lr. The manager said he was surprised they were there. He said they fly off the shelf about as fast as they can get them.
They wanted $450 for the .22lr and the full-blown .223 was $1100 (which is a tad high for this area, as several gun stores have them from $700 and up).

Money talks.
The WW management must have read that the firearms industry is going strong while the rest are having troubles.
They just want a piece of the action.

They will sell anything they can make money on.

It depends on the Wally World, also,...
15 minutes east of me, there is a WM in a more minority section of town,...No ammo, no firearms,...nada.
15 minutes north of me, in a upper middle class type area,...lots of shooting accessories, ammo, etc,....no guns except pellet/BB, paintball, airsoft.
Outside of Jacksonville, Fl, in rural ag. section of state,...WM has all kinds of long guns, (including evil black ones) but no handguns,..

Same here........... best ammo selection is at a WW 30 miles away......... our local store has an OK gun selection for hunters, but the ammo supply is usually low.
Also, a lot of folks don't know that you can go online to the WW page and custom order non-stock guns and have them drop-shipped to your nearest WW that sells guns.

Does that work like a transfer, where you pay the seller for the gun and a fee to WW ?
Or do you just pay Wally World the full amount ?

I think he means you can order from the WW web page for guns your local store does not stock but the company does.
