It sounds like a convenient set up to me..
I can see the headlines now.. "See how easy it is to get an assault rifle! Etc. etc..."
Once I thought about it for 10 seconds, that's what came to mind.. If Schumer isn't talking about this within the next two months, (just because he's not in session right now), I will be surprised...

One more observation.. If the thing is an assault rifle, the legislatures/courts are gonna have to figure out something new to call the crime of hitting somebody with a fist..

Hey, I ordered a generator and got a "book"!  I'm glad the guy that got it was honest because he called and traded for the book.

It was interesting how many times I heard "assault rifle" in the news.....

That term is wearing thin, right there along with "clip". I find myself correcting anyone I come across that uses the wrong vernacular.

One young clueless chap from England on a yacht crew today at work, actually thought it was a machine gun/full auto.....

We went and had a "chat" on the dock,.....Poor lad...

What gets me is why the idiot, if he didnt want it, sell the thing and buy hi stoopid plasma and have some pocket money. IDIOT!

The whole "assault rifle" thing drives me up a wall.  When ever I hear anyone use that (or 'clip') I just automatically assume complete ignorance and probably lefty loony or sheep.

If I throw a potato at someone, does it become an assault potato?
