Whewwwwwww!  I was afraid that if Pawlenty wasn't tapped the local blue paper wouldn't have anyone to blast.  At least it will be someone they hate as much as Gov. Pawlenty, and being a neighbor we can get right to the lies without having to waste time on facts and introductions.

This will be the most "whitebread" ticket I can recall except for maybe Bush/Quayle.. I was hoping for something a little more aggressive..

I remember thinking that Quayle was Life Insurance for Bush.. After a few months of Biden, I realized that was at least one thing that commie boy learned from the history of the Presidency..

I get a kick out of the left being hung up on the color of his skin.  If Romney had picked a black running mate they would have accused him of pandering, and they would have called the running mate an "Uncle Tom" sooner or later.

Me?  I don't care what color he is, as long as he's the one living at the Naval Observatory next January.  Call me a "content of his character" kind of guy.   ;)

He gets an "A" from the NRA, too.  I'll take that.

I loved it when Ryan took 6 minutes to dismantle Obamacare...to Obama's face.  The first time an intellectual challenges BHO he turns into a mental midget...

"Whitebread" has less to do with the particular brand of school paste than it does an overall demeanor and persona.
(Surely you aren't suggesting I have a leftist view.. Are you?..  ??? That would be really hard sell to anybody who actually knows me..)

No.  I was referring to the idiots on TV.

On an unrelated note:  A good friend of mine from college has become a huge Obama supporter.  I feel so betrayed.

I feel your pain...

My own dear sister succumbed to 25-years of Education Association brainwashing and supports Odamna, too.  Worse than that, she lives in Mesa, AZ and actively works against Sheriff Joe.

Imagine my shame...

I can't believe you would actually admit that in public.
You might as well claim to be descendant of Benedict Arnold.

You can pick your nose but you can't pick your relatives.

True, but you don't have to acknowledge them.  ;D

About a month ago, I ran into a cousin that I hadn't seen in nearly 30 years. Because I can't resist doing it, I asked his opinion of the Presidential situation, last time and this.. He said that last time he "voted for McCain and the beauty queen", but couldn't remember her name. And that this time he would probably vote for Obama..... I was almost speechless.. I wanted to yell at him but I didn't know what I might actually say..
He said that he didn't see anything that he could support in Romney..
The guy has hunted ALL HIS LIFE, works hard every day, married to the same woman for as long as he's been married, kids...
HOWEVER.. From the time he was a kid, he wanted to work for Goodyear. (Most of the men in the family did.) That made him a "Union Man".. He smokes pot, still, I guess.. His mother is as mean as cat crap, sho nuff. (Almost all the women in the family are.)
I don't know exactly what happened in his mind.. He has always been a simple soul, (kindly put). Really nice..
I've dropped a few bombs on him on FB over the last year since I found him on there. Mostly Union related stuff..
He's not one who changes his mind by virtue of anything anybody else says, except for his wife and perhaps his parents.. If I knew what to do to change his mine, I surely would..

It doesn't make sense... Most of the family, at least the mean women and husbands who just don't want to deal with it have voted Dixiecrap for as long as I've been aware..
It's just as well I left these parts when I was young.. I managed whatever infection I had early on.. Thank God!!
