Title: Tactical Solutions - Ruger uppers for mark 3 pistols
Post by: sledgemeister on August 11, 2012, 06:14:20 PM
Just ordered a new upper for my Ruger mark 3 pistol through a distributor in Australia. Got myself a 6" Blue threaded Barrel with silver flutes sorta like this but blue and with out the rail.

Currently am running a slab barrel version with a weaver handgun scope on it and while accurate I find it a tad bulky.
So am thinking get this lighter version and run a small red dot instead.

Question ha any one got one of their barrels and what they think of them, any pitfalls or things I should be aware of that you know of?

I believe MB has mantioned that he has one or more.  I have a TS conversion unit for my 1911.  Have to have someone with good eyes wring it out because it only has open sights.
