Title: Biden's Gaffe-A-Thon......
Post by: PegLeg45 on August 16, 2012, 05:42:01 PM
Man, this guy is a snowball rolling down hill........  ::)

Quote
The Biden Gaffe-athon that just won't stop

To many in the Republican Party, Vice President Joe Biden is the gift that keeps on giving.

To many in the Democratic Party, Vice President Joe Biden needs to just keep his mouth shut.

In the wake of the man a heart beat away from assuming the presidency telling a largely Black audience that in regards to the Republicans;

"They’re going to put y'all back in chains!"

He wasn't quite done yet.

Where Am I...?

During yesterday's same speech, Biden attempted to fire-up the audience when he told them:

"We need you to go out there and make sure, ladies and gentlemen, that with you, and I mean this: With you, we can win North Carolina again. And if we do, we win the election if we win you."

Unfortunately for Biden, the speech was delivered in Danville... Virginia.

Who Is He...?

One upping himself, the following day the VEEP made another campaign stop at Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg, Va.

The former member of Congress seems to have forgotten the elected office his soon-to-be debate opponent holds:

"Congressman Ryan and the congressional Republicans, as one person said, had all, have already passed in the Republican House what Governor Ryan is promising to give the whole nation."

Paul Ryan is the representative from Wisconsin's 1st Congressional District.

He's never served as the governor of any American state or territory.

What Century Is This...?

Possibly sensing he was on a roll, the constitutional spare tire attempted to aggrandize Obama's mega-multi-billion dollar bailout of General Motors:

"Once again General Motors [is] the largest automaker in the world. Folks, where is it written that we cannot lead the world in the 20th century in making automobiles? I’ve not seen it written anywhere."

Yet again, unfortunately for Biden, this is the 21st century.

Even McCain is advising Obama to dump Biden.
But they bought all those"Obama/Biden" signs and the campaign is running a deficit

I have to point out though that the "put y'all back in chains" was not a Biden screw up that was a prepared speech.

Number one...I guess it's ok now if I speak in Ebonics, since it's ok for the Vice President of the United States who is one of the whitest guys on the planet and he works for an African (possibly an) American,  then I guess it's ok for me and other white folks too.

Second, I can't imagine they'll leave him out wandering around much longer but I hope they DO. He's going to become a gargantuan embarassment right before the election.

Not only did Joe get the century wrong in that idiotic comment, Toyota is actually larger than GM...

So, he got that wrong, too.

Plus, GM had a 41% loss for the last reporting period and Toyota was profitable yet again.  So Joe was incorrect by any metric you want to employ.

I hope Odamna keeps him on the ticket.  The fool is a walking RNC advertisement.

I think something "accidental" is going to happen to Joe soon, and Hitlery is going to be our new Vice President.

Not that the Obama regime is likely to pay much attention, but the Vice Presidential, as well as Presidential succession is governed by the 25th Amendment.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twenty-fifth_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution#Section_2:_Vice_Presidential_vacancy

Section 2: Vice Presidential vacancy

The Constitution did not provide for Vice Presidential vacancies until the Twenty-fifth Amendment was adopted. The Vice Presidency has been vacant several times due to death, resignation, or succession to the Presidency. Often these vacancies lasted for many years.

Under Section 2, whenever there is a vacancy in the office of Vice President, the President nominates a successor who becomes Vice President if confirmed by a majority vote of both Houses of the Congress.
