Since I took the oath many years ago and things in this country have changed,I borrowed this from another forum and made the necessary changes...
I Majer do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will use some good common sense to judge the validity of such edicts or orders before I obey the orders of the President of the United States or believe anything that comes out of his mouth or media weasles and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations of common sense and the true words of the US Constitution. So help me God.

I'm just trying to imagine the guys you have in your minds eye trying to catch & kill a crow..
Following the laws & mindset of the folks they vote for means that they're disarmed, or they're kid is carrying around a Hi Point, and can't hit much with it, or just blowing the thing into a pile of feathers.
None have actually seen a chicken lay an egg, (and most must think that eggs come from the store)..
I can see them remembering grandma, and out there trying to put salt on its tail..
Hmm..

Actually I was thinking more of people like us with .22's and pellet rifles getting by on crow, squirrel and pidgeon while those you mention starve to death.
