Was poking around for 7x57 brass and ammo, and noticed the price of 7.62x54R is down about 30%.
Aim Surplus has 440 tins for $73. That's around 16.6cents a round. 19.3 cents per round with shipping if you buy 2 tins.
Might be good time to stock up, before prices are affected by the election.

Good to know. Thanks!

My SPAM cans are stacked. Been splitting those 880 rd. (2 can) deals with a shooting partner for a while.
Also been doing that type of co-investing with other calibers. It works out nicely.

If anyone is looking for 7.62 X 54R cheap. J&G Sales out of Prescott, Arizona has a one day sale on it for $69.96 for a 440 round tin. That's the cheapest I've seen it in a long time. I'm thinking of getting several tins. It stores forever, and is good ammo for shooting out of Mosin's. The stuff is pretty accurate as well.

I took an empty steel case and took it to work and drilled out the primer pocket, and tapped it for 1/4-20 thread. I then ran a 1/4-20 die over some 1/4" brass tubing to make a nipple that I threaded into the back. I got some neoprene tubing and connected it to a plastic water bottle I keep filled with Windex. After I shoot the corrosive stuff, I stick the case in the chamber and give the bottle a squeeze while holding the barrel down. It does a good job of washing any corrosive salts out of the barrel until I get home and give it a good wet cleaning.

Good price . I may add a tin or two to my stock.
Neat idea on rinsing out the barrel.
