We use that shit to water the roses Phil! It's not for drinking so much as pissing...
American BIG bottlers brew water that will hold a head! Nasty stuff for the most part. Thankfully, there are hundreds of local brewers who make real beer using age old technique and put a lotta love in their product.

philw,
My favorite when I lived downunder was Abbotts (sp from memory). Me mates preferred "greenies" (Southwark) which I think is Ozzie's version of Budweiser (piss). Local brews are always best, but didn't have any in the NT where I was, so we got what came up on the Ghan. Do remember the days when the Ghan was washed out and the first thing to run out at Woolies was the beah!...not food. Certainly missed the hunting though as we were not allowed to carry weapons. Gday and be right.
