Title: Slippery slope? Cameras in the trash...
Post by: JLawson on October 04, 2012, 07:55:11 AM
This would be funny if it weren't so sad... and stupid.

Are they trying to turn meal time into a scientific poll?  You don't need a camera to see what they are throwing away.  Look in the garbage can and say "they ain't eating this stuff."

One more case of the tail wagging the dog.  We have the technology, so we have to use it.  Rather than spend ten minutes a day recording observations and reporting it we will spend tens of thousands on technology and hundreds of thousands on experts analyzing it to develop more regulation.

This is what happens when you don't eat your broccoli.

This is what happens when you protest the POTUS's wife and accuse her of starving you.

In the 4th grade, the lunchroom was serving 'tomatoes & Rice'..... which a lot of people apparently like...... mixed together.   :-X  :-X
I didn't and still don't.
The principal was walking around the lunchroom and forcing kids to eat their veggies.
When he got to me he said I needed to eat my rice & tomatoes and I told him I didn't eat rice & tomatoes because it made me retch.
He kept at it until I ate a spoonful........... and then promptly threw up all over his trouser legs and Florsheim shoes....... followed up by saying that I had warned it would make me sick.
He never tried that again.

I started early in my defiance of wannabe power figures.  ;D  ;D

I can just see this resulting in a, "you can't leave the table until you finish your vegetables". "Sure, I didn't want to go to class anyway."
