Well, the machine gun shoot was a roaring success. I havent got the official tally yet, but think we sold about 150 guns, most of them on Saturday. Was told we had approximately 14,000 people pay to get in Saturday alone. Friday was probably half that, and Sunday is pretty much a dead day. I still have not got over it. Wore plumb out. Friday I went to work at 5:30 am, left at 10:30 pm. Saturday was even longer, 5:30 am to 11:00 pm. Makes for one heck of a long day. Anyway, glad it is over till April.
One of the guys from Sons of Guns came in and bought a gun from us. Fleming was his name. He bought a .22 Sturmgavar (not spelled right). I thought that was funny, and told the boss that Sons of Guns had to get their guns from us! Also seen Frank James from Gallery of Guns and the Shotgun News running around there.
By the way, seeing as how I won that AR, I bought a lottery ticket for the first time in ages. Maybe my luck will hold out!
