They deserve all of the scorn and shame that comes with this stupid idea. We should take heed that such "common sense" gun control measure never see the light of day here in the US.

The result of being 'subjects' instead of 'citizens'......... and we better watch our backs over here or we'll end up in the same boat.

Apparently you also need to show ID when purchasing "...a range of products, including scissors and adhesives" there.
