Is the new Tiger Stadium considered a building?

I recall 11 police vehicles were trashed in 1984, can we go for 22 this go 'round? :D

Yep....they film war movies there to give a depth of realism to the "Destruction of War" scenes....

Post by: Timothy on October 19, 2012, 07:20:32 PM: I read recently that the Chief of Policia in Detroit issued a statement and put up a billboard that said during the ALCS and now the WS, the policia could NOT guarantee anyone's safety within the city limits of Detroit.

The new park is only about a mile or so north of the old Tiger Stadium. It's not exactly a pretty place outside the park. Maybe one of our local Motown residents will chime in on that one.

Post by: Timothy on October 20, 2012, 07:17:08 PM: Take a few minutes and Google Earth the area neighborhoods around Comerica Park and Ford Field where the Lions play. All you'll find is burned out housing projects, collapsed houses block after block. Some are now just empty fields..

An urban nightmare run by crooked pols, corrupt policia and a community that continues to elect the worst the area has to offer!
