We are south of the hemisphere not south of the border.
Trying to wipe us out in bus accidents is not warranted!!

A charter bus carrying mostly Australian tourists from the Grand Canyon has crashed on an Arizona highway, killing the driver and injuring 48 passengers.
Arizona Department of Public Service spokesman Bart Graves said the bus is owned by Silver State Transportation and most of the passengers are believed to be from Australia.
The bus was northbound on Highway 93 on Friday night, nearing the Nevada state line, when the driver suffered a physical problem and lost control, Arizona highway patrol spokesman Carrick R. Cook said.
The company that offered the tour said the driver may have suffered a heart attack.
The vehicle hit a ravine, tore up a small hill, and then bounced and lurched over rough terrain for more than 210m before stopping, damaging the front end but remaining upright, Cook said.
"We believe the driver experienced some sort of the medical condition and he just went off the road," the patrol said in a statement. No other vehicles were involved.
All 48 passengers were injured, but 27 of them were walking wounded with mainly bumps and bruises, Cook said.
"The passengers were pretty much bouncing around," he said.
The six most seriously hurt were flown by helicopter to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, while 15 others with less severe injuries were rushed to area hospitals by road.
UMC spokeswoman Danita Cohen said the six were being treated for nonlife-threatening injuries, such as broken bones and lacerations. She described them as being mostly over 50 years old.
The passengers were returning to Las Vegas following a trip to the Grand Canyon when the crash occurred.
Tony Fiorini, president of Silver State Trailways, the California-based company bus company that operates tours from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon, said the company believes its driver had a heart attack while on the road.
"Fortunately, no one else was seriously injured," Fiorini said.
Fiorini declined to release the name or age of the driver and didn't say how long the driver had been with the company.
It was the third time in recent years that a tour bus crash in the area claimed lives.
Two years ago, two people were killed and several others injured in a crash on an area highway. In January 2009, seven people died and 10 were injured when a charter bus carrying a group of Chinese tourists on a return trip from the Grand Canyon crashed on US 93, the main highway leading to Hoover Dam.
on a serious note poor old bus driver, and condolences to his family, damn lucky no one else was killed. :(

Indeed, glad it wasn't worse, and sorry for the injuries. But, gotta say as to the title? Damn right Aussies aren't Mexicans. Mexicans can cook. ;D

yeah but damn howmany different ways does one need to cook farking beans. Cant you guys go to the shitter through natural means?
BTW: Beans = Heinz Baked Beans - all else is girly beans!
Point two: Aussie Cooking - if it can fit between two bits of bread then its edible if you want gourmet add tomato sauce!
Point Three: Aussies wont mow your lawns for anything less than 40.00 an hour however for that you wont have to learn a foreign language when trying to say please dont use the brush cutter (aussie male slang for a weed wacka), you can simply say "hey mate dont use the Stihl near the roses".
Point four (most important: if given the job of a lawn mower (sorry thats yank for landscaper) we wont rock up to your joint with have our families trying to get our sisters jobs as maids, pimp our our nephews or have an uncle Hector dealing drugs off your street corner!.
PS we call landscapers sheilas that shave ya nether regions in to landing stips!
:P

The biggest difference is that 48 Aussies were in a "Trailways" bus, 48 Mexicans would have been in a Volkswagon bus.

Oh, nooooo, noooooo, no!
Real beans (I men real manly beans) begin dry, have to be soaked, seasoned, and baked in a cast-iron Dutch oven......and then you'll be eatin' real baked beans.

Preferably buried in a hole full of coals. (Best way to steam clams and lobster too)

Sweet God you people are heathens! Rule one for making beans, kill a pig. Beans without pork fat? What's the point?
Borracho Beans
Slow cook bacon in a sauce pan.
Remove bacon. add 3 galic cloves minced, a finely chopped onion and two minced serannos. Cook for 30 seconds,
add three diced tomatoes and a quarter cup chopped cilantro
Add soaked black beans (or canned with liquid)
Add 1 bottle of Negro Modelo, Shiner Bock or or other dry dark beer
Add pure chile powder (prefferably ancho), salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer for 45 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
Freaking Aussies. ;D Though, the shelias with the landing strips are welcome to enjoy a steak and bean taco. ;D

The bus was northbound on Highway 93 on Friday night
There were jungles in Vietnam that are safer than Hwy 93 on a Friday! (or Saturday or Sunday)
When I drive to Vegas or Laughlin it's only on Tuesdays - Thursday....unless my wife planned the trip.
You guys are right about the beans. Only an Aussie would eat canned. ;D

We haven't really found a way to do that as the last two administrations haven't seemed to grasp the concepts of "national soveriegnty" or "border security". Sadly, however this election goes, its a fool who will expect better. :'(
