For 17 seconds, Phoenix, Arizona CBS News affiliate KPHO ran a lower third graphic that showed that Obama had won the Nov. 6 election over Gov. Mitt Romney with 99% of the precincts reporting. The lower third graphic appeared around 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 19

Looks like the fix is in... nice to know they played their hand early the rat bastards.
-
I would not be shocked at all to learn that they had graphics already made up for both. Some one just clicked the wrong file.
-
Just like at the DNC convention where the teleprompter already had the outcome of the floor vote.
-
According to the article they were testing software, so somebody had to feed the data to the computer to be displayed. I wouldn't read TO much into it, but it is curious.
-
That's why you have "B" Control. So you can test things "off the air".

"Dewey beats Truman"
Now THAT is a scoop ;D ;D ;D

Alf is correct!
There are only two ways to explain this, and they both point to somebody trying to make a point for their favorite.

Well - the night before the election.

The idea behind the Constitutional protections of our God given rights it RESPONSIBILITY!
If these idiots can't act responsible they are not fit to speak and print for public consumption!
Several years ago it was determined through scientific research that several factors influenced votes and even voter turn out. That is the reason they stopped poll results until after the last polls closed. It is time to quit this speculation!

The polls have been consistently wrong at least since 1980.

With the exception of a few, most polls have the race at a dead heat or O a point of two ahead. Considering how in the tank they are for the pres, I'd expect they're cooking the polls to sway voters to either follow the lead of those they respect or to get folks to forget about voting because the race is already lost.
That makes me think that they are very, very worried that the pres is about to get his ass handed to him tomorrow.
George Will predicted 325 Electoral votes for Romney is the likely result and not all that difficult for him to attain. I suspect that the media is off by 7-10 points and Romney is in the lead not tied or behind.
about 26-30 hours from now, we'll know...

Ah, but the Constitution requires the Electoral College to cast there votes no later than December something...gotta "get-r-done"!
