Military Absentee Ballots Delivered One Day Late, Would Have Swung Election For Romney
Military Absentee BallotsWASHINGTON, DC – Sources confirmed today that hundreds of thousands of military absentee ballots were delivered hours after the deadline for them to be counted, with preliminary counts showing that they would have overturned the vote in several states and brought a victory for Governor Mitt Romney.
Officials say the ballots were delivered late due to problems within the military mail system. Tracking invoices show the ballots sat in a warehouse for a month, then they were accidentally labeled as ammunition and shipped to Afghanistan. At Camp Dwyer, Marine Sergeant John Davis signed for them and was surprised at the contents.
“I told Gunny we got a bunch of ballots instead of ammo,” Davis told investigators earlier today. “He told me to file a report of improper delivery and that the chain of command would take care of it. We didn’t hear anything for three weeks. While we were waiting we came under fire so we dumped a bunch of them in the Hescoes. We didn’t dig those ones back out.”
After military officials realized the initial error, the ballots were then sent back to the U.S. but suffered a series of setbacks.
Twelve boxes of ballots were dropped overboard during delivery to the USS Kearsarge (LHD-3) in the Persian Gulf, then while the ship sailed to Bahrain, postal clerks allegedly pocketed whatever ballots they wanted.
The remaining absentee ballots were loaded onto a C-130, but the flight was delayed until November 1st so the crew could get tax free pay for the month. Once the ballots arrived stateside they were promptly mailed to each state’s counting facility, reaching their final destination on November 7th.
“It’s a shame,” Rear Admiral John Dawes said when asked for comment. “I expected a delay so I ordered that everyone cast their votes eight months ago. It’s really unfortunate that our mail system failed us and directly affected the course of history.”
Upon hearing the news, angry Republicans have begun a demand for a recount, but most military absentee voters have shrugged off the news, with many wondering whether the care packages their families sent six months ago were ever going to show up.

People's heads should roll, but they won't. As has been posted, an entrepreneur makes a mistake, he suffers. A bureaucrat makes a mistake, everyone else suffers.
What I've noticed is that liberal's (Democrats) tend to believe in The-End-Justifies-The-Means. So, spreading false stories, delaying mail, denying people votes, allowing non-citizens (and the dead) to vote is okay if it gets them to their goal. They are after all "better" than the rest of the crowd.
Conservatives (Republicans), including Libertarians tend to believe in The-Means-Justifies-The-End. It wouldn't matter if most of the military wanted to vote for Obama, they'd make sure their mail got through. It's something called CHARACTER.

I've often said Voter Fraud should be treated as treason.
This is overwhelmingly in that category and those responsible should be tried with the death penalty mandatory upon conviction.
If we cannot trust that our elections are honest, that leaves rebellion as the only alternative and these acts of voter fraud/manipulation need to be counted as the most grievous crimes against the Republic.
Anyone involved who isn't forthcoming with the information needed to find all guilty parties are immediately charges as accomplishes and will be tried with the same sentence.

That's pretty much the bottom line as I see it.
Based on information coming to light about faulty vote machines switching Romney votes to Obama, unregistered voters being allowed to vote, military absentee ballots being diverted, and the ever predictable Black Panthers repeating their role with clubs, it would appear our elections are no more honest than those of Venezuela .

Perhaps that is why the UN observers were here: we are a third world country now. No matter how this election turned out; those votes have to be counted. A failure to do that means we confirm our third world status. In years past, I remember that the letter postal cancellation date was the criteria for inclusion or rejection in ballot arrival cases. The absence of a postal cancellation (not an infrequent occurrence with APO/FPO systems) was a problem as well. Somehow, however, with the current ethnic makeup of the services I don't see these ballots really making any difference. Sometimes when you aim at your foot, you hit it.
I think I've mentioned this before: Let's be careful what we say about armed rebellion in this forum. This forum and others like it are being watched and probably "infiltrated". Remember a few years ago this administration stated that the greatest terrorist threat to the U.S. would come from domestic sources. Do we think they are doing nothing about that? I really enjoy this forum, and I too like to blow off steam here. What was the name of that TV series that said "Let's be careful out there!"

Graywolf beat me to it .
But, there are other ways to rebel besides taking up arms, although the Constitution , as expanded upon by the founding fathers in "The Federalist", and other writings and correspondence, makes clear that that is an option.

Any reason to bitch huh?
The Duffle Blog HUH? One story on a back water blog that does not list sources - it is nothing more then WERDZ on the interwebs.
And specifically where do military absent ballots fit in to the ELECTORAL COLLAGE? As far as I see. No where and never have.
Just below the article.... they have this article... Joseph Kony Currently Leads U.S. Presidential Race - Yah OK Riiiight
And below that. Commander Relieved For Violating Entire UCMJ
Any idea HOW BIG the UCMJ is? and he violated IT ALL.
Duffle blog.... ok - believe it if you want.... Henny Penny

I don't know about the rest of your post RTFM but the military absentee ballots count on the toward the soldiers "home of record" basically were ever he got the ballet from.
-
RTFM and I concur, The Duffle Blog, is very similar to 'The Onion'.
-
Count me as three...the whole story stinks of something!

While it is very possible ballots can, and do, get delayed, I'm with RTFM on this one. Nothing personal Santahog but your sources lately are less than reliable/credible.
Military Postal Service has very clear rules about outgoing mail sitting anywhere. Things getting blown overboard does happen but being mistaken for ammo is stretching it a LOT.
Tom is correct, military absentee ballots are not federal but state/local ballots mailed just like everybody else's and are counted in the precinct selected as "home." I had the choice of voting in Alameda or San Diego county, since that is where I was stationed at the time, while on deployment.
BTW Military Times DID have a poll in the latest issue that 69% polled were voting for Romney, and 55% thought he would win. To bad.
-
Illinois among other states does have a history of not mailing military ballots until it is impossible for them to be returned in time to be counted.
-
True or not, my statement about Voter Fraud/Manipulation stands on it's own...in my mind, at least.
Here maybe another example

I thought I got em all.. Sorry..
I figured it out about an hour after I posted it when I saw another link to the page, that was one of those things you just brush aside.. I just happened to catch a glance at the address. I looked at it and the whole page is written by some guy who used to be a medic or corpsman or something.. (All clearly marked as satire.)
Even the guy on the local radio station read it on air.
I spent all that morning catching it from far and wide.. (Plus mentioning it to the guy who sent it to me, who thought it was real, too..)
Yup.. That was me.. Shoulda looked at the whole site before I posted it.
Mea culpa..

The site is the military equivilent of The Onion, its a humor site.
Here's an article I enjoyed "American Al Queda spends his entire jihad watching movies and making phone calls". ;D

I have not verified all of these, but some of them sure can be verified. If even half of them are accurate BHO should be demanding a recount...just to prove he isn't a cheating, lying, underhanded, despicable, egg sucking POS.
The question must be asked. I wish I didn’t have to be the one to ask it. But, since no one else will, it falls to me.
Did Barack Obama actually, legitimately, fairly and legally win the election?
My answer is an unequivocal no.

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney got no votes in 59 voting districts in the city of Philadelphia last week on Election Day.
None.

Up to 10 percent of the ballots cast at a polling station in Pennsylvania reverted to a default, which gave Barack Obama a vote no matter who the voter had selected, according to a poll watcher who was a witness to the proceedings.

They reported the same problem during early voting in Ohio.
And then of course there's Fla where they are challenged to figure out paper and crayons.
