Haz may be suffering from feline distemper. 

He's been working nights at Wallyworld for close to free.  He sleeps during the day when normal people socialize.

They won't bump him over 30 hours a week, so he gets no benefits. 

He makes almost no money so a lot of bills go late.

On the brighter side of things, he just got his CDL and there's a good probability he'll get a decent local driving job around the first of the year.

And that recent election thingy sorta hit him the wrong way.  Got him a little more discouraged than he had been.  And that was sorta hard.

Bunny and I will be sharing Thanksgiving Dinner with him and Haz Jr.

A little mention in yer nightly talks with God would not be a bad thing.
