Obama should be forced to wear one at all times.
-
He won’t, but I bet it may not be long before he has his Gov. Thugs wearing them to make sure everyone eats the right food and follows all the regulations.
-
That's going to cut into Real Tree's profits. "Damn Earl, I just went to to take a wizz, and now I can't find the damn gun"! ;D
-
I'm surprised they don't tie a bell around Obama's neck around the WH as it is.. It wouldn't be a good idea to let him near anything sensitive..
-
They've been working on making airplanes invisible too. The military wants daytime stealth.

Oddly, they,ve figured this one out. You light up the bottom of the plane/drone. It seems counterintuitive, but it works. The eye looks for things that shouldn't be there, like a shadow in the sky, so make the shadow dissapear with some lights aimed upwards. The real barrier is the noise.

Call me skeptical, but the pictures in that article just like a bad photoshop job.

Saw it on the morning news show as well .
Let's wait and see how durable and effective it is as clothing, and as a surface finish on vehicles and equipment .
It might work great like Kevlar, on the other hand it may wear like wet toilet paper.
It is worth noting that snipers and hunters have been using camo mats and Ghillie suits for centuries, this is just the digital version of another item that has existed in "analog form" for ages.

Are Klingons nervous? Nope, the Bird of Prey is still the only one. Then again, Capt Kirk figured out a way to decloak it and save the whales. Terrorists just spray 7.62's in any and all directions anyway, so suggest you don't ditch your body armor, if that does anything for you. Ambush material? Maybe. Cloaking tanks on the move? What a laugh. Noise, clank, exhaust and dust are dead giveaways. Static camo? Might be good. Marines sneaking off ship for a ville run? Let's buy it, not matter the cost!

They may be pretty obvious to a guy on the ground a couple hundred yards away, but when you start talking about aerial, or satellite surveillance they don't matter so much.
