Movie - HEAT - Tom Sizemore says to Robert De Niro - For me.. the action is the juice.

That has always stuck with me.

- Also Charlie Don't Surf / Apocalypse Now

Malcolm Reynolds (character) Firefly / Serenity - "If someone tries to kill you, you try and kill 'em right back."

And my last favorite - this one from the TV show.

Mal: "Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. Whaddya suppose that makes us?"
Zoe: "Big damn heroes, sir."
Mal: "Ain't we just!"

Big damn heroes.... I just love that line... Big Damn Heroes

The Great Race (?) Jack Lemon, when advised that the floating ice berg they were on was melting and shouldn't say anything about it to the others, stated "Oh, I won't say anything...No, I won't say anything...But when the water gets to my lower lip, i intend to say something to someone!" I know that is not the exact quote, but the thought stays with me. Don't know why.

And then, of course, there's always "Make him an offer he can't refuse." The Godfather.

As a note, Andy McNab, the tech advisor, was part of a Brit SAS team destroyed by the Iraqis during the first Gulf war.
He spent months as an Iraqi prisoner and wrote a book about it called "Bravo 2 - 8"

I couldn't find the "Iceberg scene" but here's the pie fight from "The Great race"

Lonesome Dove
Woodrow F. Call: "Now hold on just a dang minute.....You ain't gonna get off down the trail and go to missin' your wife like our last cook, are you?

Po Campo: "My wife is in hell where I sent her. She could cook good biscuits.....but her behavior was terrible."

Gus McCrae: "I think we've found our man!"

Unforgiven

Some of my favorites.   There are so many.

"Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."
"Toto, I've got a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore."
"Here's looking at you, kid."
"Go ahead, make my day."
"You talkin' to me?"
"I love the smell of napalm in the morning."
"Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship."

Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory........"My new computer came with Windows 7.  Windows 7 is more user-friendly than Windows Vista.  I don't like that."

Wyatt Earp from Tombstone......."You gonna do something, or just stand there and bleed?"

Virgil Earp from Tombstone....."Don't you threaten me, you little sonofabitch!!"

A coupe from Conan the Barbarian

Warlord: "What is best in life? Conan!"
Conan: "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, to hear the lamentation of the women"

Thulsa Doom: "What is steel compared to the hand that wields it?"

Ghostbusters

Peter Venkman: "We came, we saw, we kicked it's ass!"

And you can't have a thread about great lines from movies with out Rowdy Roddy Piper's line from the seminal alien infiltration and take over film "They Live"

I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass.  And I'm all out of bubble gum.

#1 The Jackal

Just after Bruce Willis blows off Jack Blacks arm at ~400m...

"Hurry up and get in front of the car before you pass out."

#2 Princess Bride

"Inconceivable!"  (Or was that John F'ing Kerry after he found out the REAL, as opposed to exit polls, poll results and lost to GWB!)

#3 Blazing Saddles

"Badges?!?  We don't need no stinking badges!"

PATTON.

I want you to remember that no bastrad  ever won a war by dying for his Country, He won it ...by making the other poor dumb bastard die for HIS country.

I remember sitting in the theater with many pinko fag commies .... and they applauded when near at the end of the movie, Patton was on the phone and he said that "we should be arming the Germans to attack the Rusikies". Just give me 10 days and I'll make it  like it was their fault......

What has happened to America ?

Ok, point of order here to #3.  Blazing Saddles parodied this quote. It is from the book, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre. It appeared in at least two movies prior to Blazing Saddles.
The Treasure of the Sierra Madre was made into a movie in both 1927 and 1948. The line was used in both movies.
