Title: Radical G21
Post by: PegLeg45 on December 19, 2012, 04:21:19 PM
Here is a photo of a radically lightened Glock G21 posted by Lone Wolf Distributors on their FB page.

They said it is a customer-built gun.

The slide of a semi-auto pistol has a specific weight range in order to function correctly with the power range of the cartridge they use.

I'd guess a redesign of a lot of stuff must have happened to make the gun work.  Just the slide moving much faster do to low weight and inertia could cause problems with the action opening to soon and the slide returning before the spent case cleared the action.

Probably the best looking Glock ever made though.

I would like to know what compromises had to be made for it to function reliably.

I would wonder about strength.
It looks cool for a gun that is carried a lot but seldom shot.
If he competes with it I would be far less trusting.

Probably shooting minor loads for 3 gun.  I understand when you start adjusting springs in a Glock a lot of other stuff has to follow.
