As a gun shop employee who is well groomed I take unbrige to the video above. At the store I work at it is in the employee handbook that I am allowed to go off on one customer per year with repercussion from management or the owner.
Now I came close today to using my one.
Note to the wise for current gun buyers. Don't call any more gun shops asking if you can still get a cool AR Colt, FN, HK or any of the others. You dumb ass, you should have gotten your ass into a gun shop last Saturday like the really smart buyers did. Right now, if your luck, you might find a DPMS Sportical.

I work in a gun store too, and I LMAO at the video. I got to say, he is right about a lot of places I go visit. And WatchMan hit it on the head. Damn phone been ringing off the hook and every other call is you have any ARs left? The other is do you have any mags left? I got to say that we probably had more ARs in stock than anybody else in the area, and we are down to about 20 now. We had boxes full of P mags and they are gone. It has been a madhouse.

Stopped in my local mom and pop gun shop, their pistol cases were down by 50% with lots of empty holders lying about the shelf cases - meaning they had nothing left in stock to put in the case.
The AR racks had Ruger mini-14s, Moisins and similar left. A couple of ARs, high priced pieces, Colt and the like. Two weeks ago they were crammed with ARs so tightly you could barely get one out of the rack.
Mostly shotgun ammo left.
Truly nutso out there!

Good video. My exp. with gun shop employees is mostly very favorable. I dont go to the "mega" retailers like Gander, Outdoor World anymore for gun stuff, where its a mixed bag on customer service, knowledge, and salesmanship.
My pet peeve is the 22 year old " Call Of Duty " expert that has no real world experience with specific parts, accessories or options for a given firearm, and has a condescending attitude when asked.
As an observation from South FL, AR/AK high cap mags are GONE. Ammo is available for deer hunting calibers/rifles and shotgun ammo is available. Old milsurp rifles are now being bought for twice what they used to be. (No more $99 Moisins),... :-\
The AR's AK's that are around are well over $1500 for plain jane ones. Well over $2000 for "tweaked ones".

Back in the 90's I took an AK in there to trade and was told they did not want it in the store .
I haven't bought anything there since.

It hits the nail on the head and the closest Gunstore/Range to me doesn't get my business as they had a couple of old farts that had a attitude the were God's Gift to the Guns Store. They need to watch the video and I can here them now NOT ME it's bad enough the range is dark and dirty and you have two AH's driving more customers away.
I drive about 15 miles further to the range I go to now and enjoy the employees and the clean well lit range.

I too have been in gun stores that have sales people who were in fact pricks,needless to say I wont go back.I'm now 56 will be 57 in april and have been owning and shooting guns since I was 5 years old and am deeply offended by these pompous asses.I have been in other gun stores where they were friendly,couteous and professional.And some of you are correct when you say some of the customers or would be customers are as clueless as the day is long.

I drive 40 miles one way to a gun store that I know appreciates my business and treats me like a friend instead of a customer.... instead of going to a local store 10 miles from my house that acts like they are doing me a favor by allowing me to enter their place to spend money.

I have 3 that are real close to my house and they ask me to talk to some of the customers. All three have vast knowledge in firearms and they do great custom work. I asked one why he keeps calling me in and he told me that he did not want to be too pushy and he knew I would give the customer an honest opinion and not push a certain brand or type on people.
