Now that I've got your attention , what are you all eating today .
For Breakfast I only had 1 ham and cheese Hot Pocket.
Dinner was sloppy Joe's.
You see I'm being careful not to spoil my appetite for the home made cookies, Brownies, and fudge that I've been grazing on since I woke up ;D
Did I mention the "Sloppy Joe's" were really thick venison chili sandwiches ;D
It might make a nutritionist want to slit her wrists, but I am fatter and happy ;D

Special K for breakfast!
Prime Rib (small end) roast on the grill and finished in the oven for a tender roast to medium rare, taters, veggies and a nice bottle of Merlot with some punkin bread as a finisher.
I've also hidden a goodly chunk of Mr and Mrs. Peglegs famous pound cake that showed up on my doorstep Friday! Waiting to get to the market for some fresh raspberries and ice cream. The balance has already been processed by me and the family! I had to hide the rest! ;D
Bon appetit!

Special K ?
At least you followed it up with red meat and booze so I guess there's still hope for you .
I'd rag you about the fruits and veggies as well, but I like fruits, berries and veggies, even if they are good for you .
Question , People actually EAT fruit cake ?
I thought you just poured brandy on it and passed on the next year ? ;D

I don't eat fruitcake but it works well for a panini press in a pinch......
;D

;D :D :D :D
This is my one day per year to graze freely............. I lost ten pounds since Thanksgiving....just for today, and then didn't pig out.
Turkey, chicken & dressing (of course with home made cornbread), home grown garden peas, corn, deviled eggs, squash casserole, and good sweet tea.
Also, fresh sour-cream pound cake, key lime cake w/cream cheese frosting and multiple other home made sweets like chocolate-dipped coconut balls, peanut butter balls, pecan puffs, dipped pretzels, oreo balls...........
All in moderation, of course!!!!! ;D ;D

Breakfast; Swedish Pancakes w/ lignonberries and maple syrup.
I made PotatisKorv ( Potato Sausage ) we will have for dinner along with Swedish meatballs and a variety of fruits and veggies smorgasbord style.
Rice pudding for desert.

Moderation is for RINO's
It's still early, you have time to make up for slacking earlier.
Excuse any typo's (or crumbs ) it's hard to type with a Brownie in one hand.

I make one concession to eating "healthy".
I may have 5 sugars in the each of 16 cups of coffee I drink every day, but I almost never drink soda .
During really hot weather I will allow myself 1 glass of Ginger ale, on holidays I will have a grape soda.
I had to lay off the goodies for a while, fudge and Toll house cookies do not mix well with Grape soda .
One has to make certain sacrifices sometimes. ;D

Nothing but simple fare here. Beef rib roast, roast boneless leg of lamb, baked potato, green bean and onion casserole, sweet potato casserole with nuts, peas, salad, rolls and Bosc pears in red wine sauce for desert. Sides of white chocolate chip cookies, ginger snaps and molasses cookies, crackers and smoked gouda cheese for all day snacking. Breakfast was coconut and almond milk oatmeal with maple syrup (takes 8 hours to cook but a lot less time to eat). If my doctor finds out, it's curtains! My wife definitely goes overboard with the Christmas cooking.

I don't eat a lot day to day..... I just can't exercise to the level I need to........and with all the sweets that my wife makes, I had to learn self control quickly or be as big as a barn (was already at the tool shed level).
I usually keep my sugar in the 110 point range.

Just had leftovers for lunch..... one thing about southern-style cookin' (I would expect it to be true for many styles, though) is that leftovers tend to be even better than the day before. :D
*One side note to both Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners:
My oldest son has a rule he goes by and that is, "You don't eat 'til you get full, you eat 'til you get tired."
