Seems that once wasn't enough... there are plans to publish more gun owner names when the data becomes available.

http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/12/29/us-usa-guns-newspaper-idUSBRE8BS05U20121229?feedType=RSS&feedName=domesticNews (http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/12/29/us-usa-guns-newspaper-idUSBRE8BS05U20121229?feedType=RSS&feedName=domesticNews)

Some of us may feel that there's nothing we can do to affect this travesty because we don't live in the area.  This sentiment, however, may not necessarily be true.  'The Journal News' is a Gannett Corporation newspaper and there are dozens of Gannett-owned newspapers around the country.  Please refer to the following link to find one in your area:

http://www.gannett.com/section/WHOWEARE11 (http://www.gannett.com/section/WHOWEARE11)

If you subscribe to one of these Gannett-owned newspapers then consider dropping your subscription.  Let them know why you are dropping them.  You can also target the companies who place ads in these papers... contact them through their corporate website and let them know that if they continue to advertise in a Gannett-owned paper then you will find a different source for the product.  We can ALL affect this attack on gun owners because we ALL use products from companies who place ads in these papers.

I don't participate in social media such as Facebook and Twitter but for those of you who do - please pass this on to the widest number of people possible. Let's get the word out and start fighting this crap.  Even if you're not being victimized by your local paper now, if this practice is allowed to spread unchallenged then any of us may the next victim.

In a press release Gannett stood behind the newspaper in this move.  Post names, addresses, phone numbers, and maps to the homes of every board member.

I'm sure there must be stockholders.  Don't know if that is "public record" information, but it just might be for some some trade regulations.

They deserve their time in the spotlight too.

List of the Board members is low-hanging fruit...

A quick Google for the Chairman Marjorie Magner revealed this:

Two of her activities/associations POPPED right out - "Friends of Hillary" and "Obama for America".

That tells the story right there, doesn't it?

Yup.

If it's a public corp., stockholders cannot remain anon. either.

Fight the (insert expletive) back. This is at least something,....if they get their yard TP'd ,......well...... ::)
