I'm with Peg,Sweet Tea for me

Maybe a Kaliber by Guinness. The best NA out there.
-
Might pick up a bottle of wine.
-
My favourite tipple for the New Year (or about 2200hrs, whichever comes sooner) is a Black Velvet, half Champagne and half Guinness. AT HOME!
-
Water, maybe some sparkling cider. I don't drink.
-
Chamomile tea. Grew it myself.
-
Some fresh ground coffee, then a substantial dollop of Maker's Mark.
-
A couple of Warsteiners, some wine with dinner, an Irish Coffee with dessert, and off to the "Land of Nod"..... ;)
-
Going to a party at a friend's house, so nothing to drink until I get back home (about 11 o'clock before the crazies are on the road).
New Year's Eve is amateur hour and one needs one's wits about one.
Once I arrive back home, I will have a nice glass of red wine before I toddle off to bed.

New Years Eve is for amateurs. The problems start when they try to sit on the porch with the Big Dogs.
Now Saint Patrick's day might be one for the pros.

This is a Christmas present from my oldest son.

I had the idea for the picture while I was watching the rest of the family open their presents.

I have a bottle of 1975 Penfolds Grange Hermitage bin 95 that i have been saving for a special occasion. Now that my granddaughter is walking, that might just be it! Happy New Year everyone.

I second the Pusser's Dark, wtr
Try this.
In a coffee cup, put brown sugar to taste...maybe a teaspoon to a standard coffee cup.
Put in Pusser's Dark to taste ...mine runs to a double shot.
Fill almost to the top with fresh ground and brewed coffee.
Stir well.
Take a tablespoon, turn it bottom of the spoon up and position it so it forms a gentle ramp from the edge of the cup to the top of the coffee. The pour real cream or half and half, if you must, over the back of the spoon so it floats on the top of the coffee.
Sip it. With each sip you will get the cream, coffee, Pusser's and the brown sugar. See how long you can sip at it.

Great photo, Alf.
I figure I drank enough Wild Turkey & WT Rare Breed in my 20's and 30's to more than make up for laying off of it now.... ;D
And besides, we have the grand kids tonight. :D

Keepin' it domestic...
You sir, have good taste in Bourbon. I reckon we might be twin brothers from different mothers. ;D
-
I had a bottle of pop. That's the strongest thing I drink now. I like it better with boubon but the doctor says no alcohol with my pills.
-
Not too many here would appreciate Vernors like we Michiganders do Frank!
That reminds me, I have to put in an order for a case or two shortly! We can't get it east of PA so I buy it on the net...kinda pricey but worth every cent!

I like THE ginger ale better than most anything.

I have to hide it from the kid and usually have to give my brother a 12 pack or two... I might have one stashed around here somewhere as well! Sometimes I hide it too well for my own good.

Vernor's used to be my fav when I was a kid as grandparents and other relatives lived in Detroit. I can get it here in MD but doesn't seem to have as much ginger as I remembered. Used to take my breath away. Oh well, maybe getting old has something to do with it.
