California gun sales jump; gun injuries, deaths fall

Gun deaths and injuries have dropped sharply in California, even as the number of guns sold in the state has risen, according to new state data.
Dealers sold 600,000 guns in California last year, up from 350,000 in 2002, according to records of sale tallied by the California Attorney General's office.
During that same period, the number of California hospitalizations due to gun injuries declined from about 4,000 annually to 2,900, a roughly 25 percent drop, according to hospital records collected by the California Department of Public Health.

Yes it's bothersome but the most difficult to accomplish.
Much easier to restrict what you can buy and even Justice Scalia has mentioned that reasonable restrictions on firearms would still leave the 2nd Amendment in tact. It says you have a right to keep and bear arms but nothing about the types of arms allowed.
Sucks but that's the most conservative Justice on the bench at the moment!

This is the final confrontation because if Scalia believes as he says he does, it's not as if it will be overturned when and if someone takes it to the SCOTUS! He's probably the most prominent scholar when it comes to the Constitution.
Feinsteins bill will have a hard time but the states can do as they will, especially up here in the great blue north...

Enuf and I've been relearning all of the good knots lately! Amazing what you forget when you haven't cinched down a load or tied off a line in years... It comes back fairly quickly though!

Standard hangman noose from what I could tell. It was a pretty bad video and it's gone now from youtube. He appeared to smile towards the end!
