Title: Gun Control and government expansion

I was watching "10 things you didn't know..." about JFK this morning and they said something that started an avalanche of thought. JFK and Nixon were good friends, both former Navy, both wanted to be President and both thought that the New Deal went too far. Then it hit me-every expansion of government has been accompanied by restrictive Gun laws within a few years. The New Deal (1933-36) had the Nation Firearms Act of 1934 and The Great Society (1960s) had the Gun Control Act of 1968. So with ObamaCare, the attempt to control 1/6th of the economy, what else would they do but go after guns? Somewhere in the back of my mind I can hear a history teacher saying something about history repeating itself...

BTW I don't have any friends from DRTV on FB, WTH? ;D

At the same time I would rather have fellow members of DRTV than some of the dolts I went to HS with.

Because Hillary's Healthcare push failed, something to do with aesthetics. ;D

The 1986 Firearms Owners Protection Act was signed by Reagan ???

There are a few anomalies but the patterns still fits.

Forgot about that one, and then there was Fat Alberts vote to give Social Security Bennies to Illegal aliens plus taxing 85% of SS payments.
