Seeing the term "Pre-Ban"! Is there a new ban in place that I haven't heard of? Or are these magazines you are trying to peddle for $100 or more a piece on Gunbroker pre 1994 magazines? In that case call them what they are ANTIQUE!!!
Honestly people why on Earth would you pay that much for a magazine? Why would you bid over $700 for a $400 M&P Shield? And you can't just blame the seller these are on auction sites. Give it a rest. Paying $3,000 for an $800 rifle is stupid. I guess I'm glad there is nothing I feel I need to buy right now, however it would be nice to find a brick of .22 at a store or maybe a box of 9mm!

Don't you just love panic buying and the resultant landslide?
I'm with you, I have stocks of most everything....so I'll just wait.
*As a side note, I've seen a story or two floating around about several of the anti-gun Legislators (and/or spouses) that have holdings in stocks or mutual funds that have shares in gun industry companies.
That would be the icing on the hypocrite cake.
Went back and found one I saw on FB today:

I did some major buying in October, because well, I didn't like what I was seeing before the election. Now, glad I did. Granted I have been hyper conservative with my ammo, but I should hopefully have enough to make it through the shortages.

Sean's 2nd assumption is the right one, they are 19 + year old items from before the '94 ban .
Either that or the dealer is scamming people with some cool sounding words he saw in another add.

I'am begining to wonder if we will ever see normal again the whole country seems to have gone abby normal.

I just looked at armslist.com for my state and the first thing listed was an Daniel Defense AR for 3000.00.
People are stupid.

FWIW, at my area gunshows there a ton of "unique", "rare", "custom" ad nausium guns! One individual tried to pass off an 6" AMT Hardballer as a Pachmayr Special because it had Pachmayr grips on it! I missed out on inexpensive AR's and AK's and I will not cave to the scalpers/crooks! Even the people I thought were honest aren't.

We had one local gun shop that did not raise prices at all. Needless to say he has no inventory left.
-
Why should your local shop have raised prices? According to my local shop prices have not gone up! The people who are jacking prices as high as they are now are just thieves preying on fear. According to him a few things have gone up anywhere between 3-10% which is normal in a new year but not what we are seeing here.

What I was saying was that he was one of the few in the area that didn't raise prices. I agree that the cost didn't go up. I won't be shopping at the ones that did raise prices.

Oh! I misunderstood. Sorry. We have a Gun Show coming up in a couple weeks. Ordinarily I go but I know what it's going to look like this year and have no desire to go and see tables full of $100 magazines and $4000 10/22's. However, the promoters of that show kindly told the Mayor of that City to piss off when he asked them to ban black rifles from their show. So, I'm going because they deserve my support and I will do my part not to see "Gun Show Attendance Declines" headlines.
