Saw some leaked pictures of an all black one in 40 the other day, while the grip is slimmer it has increased capacity, I was told 16 rounds for the 40 caliber. I almost made a post about it the other day but the pictures were apparently being taken off of forums as soon as they were put on so they seemed to be a sensitive subject for Springfield maybe, they aren't really good quality unfortunately.

Word has it that extended mags or base pads (19 or 20) will make it USPSA limited friendly.  From what I can see the rear sight is more shooter friendly, especially us old farts.

So a cheaper alternative to an STI Edge?

The frame design looks pretty cool.

I'm liking it myself, I wonder what the price will be around. It looks like the XD and the M&P had a few too many one night and one of 'em regretted it 9 months later.
