Title: New gym rat music sysytems?
Post by: Bic on January 24, 2013, 07:36:41 PM
OK, it's time to get back into shape. I was sorting out my old gym bag and certain people - whose names I will not mention (number 1 son & Lady Bic!) about died laughing at my steam driven portable music system - what's the new hep stuff?

My IPOD has about my entire music library plus several podcasts on it.  I'm not really an Apple fan but it's pretty user friendly.  If you're looking for music Five Finger Death Punch's version of "Bad Company" works pretty good for me, 'cause I was born with a shotgun in my hand.

4Gb of storage for $40.  It's cheaper than the cheapest iPod Shuffle with more storage.

I checked all of that out on BB too.  I ended up with the SanDisk - Clip Zip MP3 Player with 8GB* Internal Solid State Memory - Gray   SDMX22-008G-AB57G....got FM radio on it which is a must and you can plug in microSD card.

Got to get ready for lawnmower season....my 512 MB Sandisk is getting a bit long in the tooth.

+1 to what MLC said about the Sansa Clip. I bought one last year at Radio Shack and it has great sound and excellent battery life. I've put over 500 songs on it and still have not hit the 4 gig memory. I have a 16 gig card to increase the memory when that time comes. I bought a set of Skull Candy buds that have varying earpiece sizes. They have better sound than the buds that come with most MP3 players.
