Title: Moving
Post by: Pathfinder on February 06, 2013, 03:26:43 PM
OK, so most of you know I got married last December. Wonderful wedding, great honeymoon in Hawaii, got to see Pearl Harbor and the Banzai Pipeline for the first time. Yada yada yada

I was doing some checking, since I will be moving sometime in the near future - have a house to sell and all that, thankfully the housing market here is going gangbusters. So, leaving the sunny climes of ND and heading southerly. My new location - also a super-secret hidden bunker - just happens to be an hour away from KNOB FREAKING CREEK, where they hold the machine gun shoots, and maybe 30 minutes from BUD'S FREAKING GUNSHOP!!!! Plus an indoor rifle range plus numerous outdoor rifle ranges in the area.

I AM STOKED!!!!! Does it show?

And, the new Mrs. did not faint when I opened my gun safe to show her my queens and carry pieces. She is in academia, you see, and kind of "EEEEPPed" when I told her I had a gun safe full of guns, and wasn't too sure about how many exactly.

So it's all good.

Congrats!

I thought you were gone already.  Do you have a blast off date?  I promised a couple people a visit that general area last month and haven't made it yet.

Best to you and the new bride.  Enjoy the new climes and culture.

Mikey, you've been promising me a visit for about 5 years now!  ;D

No date, we're doing that whole bi-coastal thing, only without the coasts. It's a drag, commuting to each other. I'll keep y'all posted.

Buy an extra lot. I think you'll be able to flip it to a bunch of refugees from New York speedy quick. :-\
Congrats and good luck!

Two years and 10 months  ;)  If you feel slighted, think of how my mom feels - She's close to you, and I see her almost as much  :'(

Farther east, and she already works there, lives in that area. I'm moving there.
