Why can't the NRA come up with this good of stuff?

Posted on FB with the comment:
"Great video by the Second Amendment Foundation. Consider donating and/or becoming a member."
FB is good for something... ;D

I renewed my NRA and SAF memberships on the same day.
I think SAF is better aligned with my own political leanings than the NRA, but the NRA is the big dog in the fight.

+100 on that CR. I am going to start donating to the SAF as I can.

Same here.
I listen to Alan Gottlieb on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk quite a bit and as Crusader said... I find the SAF more my taste I'll never leave the NRA, but Mr. Gottlieb & Co. are producing more WIN in the courts than goofy uncle Wayne.

And the the thing is, we all agree on this. Wayne is our answer to Joe Biden. Good hearted guys who are probably fun to drink a beer with, and they believe in their respective causes, no hypocrisy, so good for them. But do you really want either of these guys watching your six in a knife fight? C'mon NRA, Uncle Wayne has put in his time, but its time to give him a gold watch and get me a hard charger with a telegenic personality and a ruthless disposition who will go out and stick someone for me if he can't charm them. Someone like Colinnoir or the equivilent. But for the love of God don't give me another bumbling middle aged white guy reading off of cue cards. ::)

I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but I see the two organizations - NRA and SAF - has having two distinct roles in preserving the 2A. SAF excels in the courtroom while the NRA does best in the halls of Congress. I view them not as competing organizations but rather as complimentary groups - we need them both to do what each does best.

Joined SAF last month.

FQ, you should take another look at NRA.
They prowl the halls of congress, working with legislation , bribing politicians and drawing the hate from the left.
SAF and other smaller groups do not have the same level of membership to achieve the same level of influence, but they are the ones going to court and fighting the legal battles at that level.
Two prongs of the same attack.
