Title: Cold shoulder, hot tounge, and grumble soup
Post by: fatbaldguy on February 25, 2013, 07:10:46 PM
are on the menu for the next few weeks/months/years.  I went to Cabela's this past weekend.  The Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle they had in stock followed me home.  Came within $3.00 of bouncing a check to keep it from wandering back.  It was probably a Benjamin more than I coulda paid local, but then again, I have it in the house, and I ain't waitin' Gawd knows how long.  Just gotta cancel the order for the Ruger LCR before it comes in, Mrs. FBG would look like a Saturn V going into orbit.  Swivels, sling, and some extra magazines will be acquired over the next few weeks.  Got 500 rnds of ammo coming from a guy in St Louis.  Loading up some Starline brass I sent him with 165 gr soft points.  Yeah, he knows to put in powder and primers too.

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO POST PHOTO'S.  When I learn to use a photo hosting site, I'll get some up of my stuff.  Just not a big priority for me.

ROFL  As soon as I read the title I knew you had a new gun .
For posting pictures most of us use Photo Bucket.
You load your picture to the site and it gives you codes for several types of sharing.
Works for video as well but I haven't used that.

Yes, Mrs FBG does.  If you were asking about the rifle, yes.  Or maybe I should say yes, when I was there.  Cabela's had six registers dedicated to forms and firearms.  I waited for an hour in line after waiting an hour at the gun counter.  Ammo was slim to none in 9mm, .45 ACP, .308/7.62 Nato, or .223.  Not a .22 long rifle in the building.   But that's the situation about everywhere.

Yeah, you gotta teach the old dog new tricks.  Pictures.  Gotta have pictures.

I'm still waiting on my Mossberg MVP Patrol.
