Palmetto State has Blazer Brass 115 gr 9mm ball this morning at $14.99/50 which is 30 cents a round or $300 a thousand. Better hurry if you need it.

Wideners has some Privi 10MM 180 gr HP at a not too bad price of $24/50 or $235/500

For in stock and usually up to date ammunition inventories of the most popular calibers.
-
At gunbot you can sort the ammo by price. The cheapest in stock is 85 cents a round.

Sheer madness!!
Five months ago you could get it for 25 to 35 cents per round.
Madness, I say!!

Lucky Gunner has some in stock still though a little pricey.

As a part of my daily routine I have just completed searching for ammunition online. I stop in at least two, and as many as five retail outlets on my once a week trip into the Cities.
As I plan my education for the summer I need about 2,500 rounds. I was hoping to purchase at least that much to provide for other shooting. I need to do some serious inventory, because this don't look good!
I am hoping this is like 2009, but with the second term bravery going on I fear this won't clear for a while.
-
M58 what cal do you need? I have some few boxs offactory 45 and 38 I can sell you for basicly shiping. I really don't need them.
-
9 X 19 is my issue right now.
I am planning on using my Tupperware for these trainings. Partially because I'm considering a change to morph to those I cater to, and partially for harmony with an instructor ;)
-
This is why many of us reload. My 9mm is running about 13cents right now. Might jump to 15 because of primers, but I have enough to last the summer.

Gen 4 17 - Full size 9 mm
I'm still getting cramps at night over this, but I think I'll survive.
It was in response to giving my M&P 9 to number one son for Christmas. I have been asking at every gun shop I enter if they have an M&P 9 or a Glock in 9 (been tempted for a while to try one). Walked into the local Scheels a couple weeks ago ... the story is on the Handgun forum.
Now gearing up for it.
-
Awww man....a Glock, huh? I'm sorry I wasn't there for you. :'(

Yeah, me too, but then Mikey never writes, never calls, and he lives just down the river from me! ??? :o ::) :P
I mean, all he would have to do is jump in the river and float north. Well, right now, what with the blizzard starting and all, maybe snowshoe north. ;)
Stopped in at Bud's Gun Warehouse whilst in Lexington this weekend. O-M-G it took me well over an hour just to make one circuit of the space. Shotties, ARs, a couple of big green boxes full of Moisin's, knives (display cases full of them), an entire wall of handguns - in stock and for sale. Including a fair number of Glock 4's, which were also available to rent on their paper and their reactive steel range. Walked out with a mag and holster for my newest acquisition.
And to think I will someday be living less than 30 minutes from there. ;D

If you find any around the cities, please let me know. I'm in desperate need of 9 x 19 and 5.56/.223.
I'm good on .303 British for a month or two. ;D

Unless you get blown under with the weather service hype Monday, I will be up there again on Tuesday. If I find something I will let you know.
Have you tried Bills or Wolfs Den?

I just gave $150 for 1050 rounds of Remington .22 high velocity and count myself fortunate to have found it.. Only double 1012 prices... I can't find ANYTHING for less than .30 a round (for good .22) locally.. :(
-
if it was not for the laiblity crap( and federal law) I would say buy the bits and have some one reload it.

I got the 555 rd bulk pack of Winchester 22 lr hp last week 26.00 bucks out the door and today 100 rd pk of Winchester 9mm fmj for 24.47 plus tax. It's out there you just have to johnny on the spot. The hardest to fine right now in my opinion is the 223 but It will be there one of these days.

You suck!!!
Actually, I am still shooting up the last of my Federal bulk pack .22lr. 550 rounds for $8.95!

Lucked out this past weekend...Ran into a friend at a gs who offered me some .223 for .40/rd! I asked for 1000 to see what he would say but he replied 500 so others could share. I said I threw out 1000 just to see and 500 was great!!!!!
Richard
PS: I'm on a roll... the AR I wanted at my price and ammo at a great price. Now if I could only find a place to shoot it! LOL
-
Come on over! I have 100 yard range right out the door, and 800 yards just 400' across the yard ;D
-
Last best deal I got on ammo was from a friend who had sold his only .45ACP pistol..... he sold me between 400 and 500 rounds for $50.00. ;D

He called me and offered....
I actually offered more, but he wouldn't take it.
I'll make it up down the line by loading him some .308 for his rifle. ;)

OMGosh. OMGosh. While I've fretted about the shortage of primers:
Last night I went to put in my semi-monthly order with Berry's Bullets. NO STOCK. Nada. Nothing. Oh a few 45-70 bullets, but nothing in handgun plated bullets. 6-8 weeks to fulfill the orders on hand. Not taking backorders.
The sky is falling the sky is falling the sky if falling. I'm below my 1,000 round stock of .45s OMG OMG

Just scored four boxes of 38 +p, Speer Lawman 158 gr ball for 80 bucks! First I've found in weeks...
-
Perhaps if we are patient and let the market calm down a bit, then we can begin to find that ammo we are after. Just stop panicking and hoarding! We are our greatest enemy...okay, maybe the second greatest.
-
Not hoarding JR! I now have exactly 200 rounds of ball and about the same in a variety of hollow points! Just can't find anything up here and we can't buy mail order.....
-
On a local basis and an internet basis I'm beginning to see more .223/5.56 and .308/7.62 ammo. Rimfire...not so much.
One of the local guys here has 50 boxes of .308 Hornady 168 grain on the shelf and another has some .223.
I am restraining myself from buying ammo that is available at high prices....I'm thinking the new normal for .223/5.56 will be around 42 cents a round sometime this summer.
Rimfire...who knows there are a lot more consumers of rimfire ammo and it's wiped out everywhere.
