Title: Bushmaster Shipping in Quantity
Post by: alfsauve on March 02, 2013, 08:04:41 AM
Here's a picture from my local store.  They posted on Facebook to let customers know that backorders are being filled.

About half are pre-orders the rest are open stock at Adventure Outdoors in Smyrna (Atlanta), GA

Hope my MVP Patrol comes in soon.

Brother, you DO NOT want a carbon AR even if its free. And I say this as the the Glock evangelist in chief on this board. Just say NOOOOO to a carbon AR!

I have yet read an overall positive review on an AR board. At first I thought it was the standard 1911 vs Glock "plastic pistol" or the Garand guys hating M16s. But there is enough anecdotal evidence to convince me that carbon lowers are just not set up to handle reated rapid fire rifle rounds. There is a rebuttal to this, but for a  few bucks more, I'll stick with aluminum for my lower.

A 5-1/2 pound AR sounds good to me but I'd rather have the Carbon-15 pistol. I heard bad things about them when they were made by Professional Ordnance, but the Bushmasters are better.

I've heard the same thing from other people.
The original manufacturer did not do that well, but Bushmaster has had no problems.

OMG! A carbon assault gun!  That will get through airport security!  So will the plastic clips!
These must be banned!  Right now!
It's for the children!
