Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said on Monday that a controversial assault weapons ban will not be part of a Democratic gun bill that was expected to reach the Senate floor next month,

“After a meeting with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Monday, a frustrated Feinstein said she learned that the bill she sponsored — which bans 157 different models of assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines — wouldn’t be part of a Democratic gun bill to be offered on the Senate floor.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has decided that a proposed assault weapons ban won't be part of a gun control bill the Senate plans to debate next month, the sponsor of the ban said Tuesday, a decision that means the ban stands little chance of survival.

This is GOOD news for sure.  We're still not out of the woods though.  Schumer's UBC bill is still out there and there will also be a magazine capacity bill to fight.  There will still be a few VERY dangerous votes in the Senate - probably next month.  We've got to stay in the game and keep the pressure on Congress.

It is not dead!

The plan is to add amendments to the bill including an assault weapons ban amendment as the votes progresses.

Dunceberg is launching a $12 million anti-gun campaign.  We are not out of the woods by a long shot.  I think it is time we take the fight to them, just not sure how to do do it...peacefully.  ;D

Peacefully is the problem - always trying to be the ones that go along to get along.
WHEN will gun culture learn?
WHEN will we pull pages from the LGB community - ACT UP crowd - IN THEIR FACE - LOUD - ANNOYING a bur under EVERY saddle - EVERY PLACE they go - SHOUT THEM DOWN - MAKE THEM very very very uncomfortable.

REMIND them WE are NOT the minority - but no one wants to rock the boat, every one wants to be the civilized side.
F-that what that fuk tard opens his mouth - thousands of and thousands of PRO-GUN people NEED to get wild and make them very very uncomfortable EVERY TIME they try to talk their chit - drown out their noise with our own.

I don't consider any of that to be other than peaceful.

Going along to get along is surrender.

Anything short of physical violence or the threat of physical violence is peaceful.  Some of it might be illegal, but it would still be peaceful.

The gun culture contains more armed members than any 2 Armies in the world , combined.
We are opposing one of, if not the, most corrupt regimes in US history.
A regime that has the media, not as a watch dog, but as a willing propaganda outlet that has, and continues to, lie out right to advance the socialist agenda.
This ridiculous insistence on "peaceful" protest is a losing strategy that plays on our weakness and the enemies strength .
Sun Tzu would call you an idiot .
(but he'd do it in archaic Chinese )
