Just saw this Warning posted on Cor-Bon's FB page about impostor ammunition on the market.
Customers:
Please beware of imposter ammunition! We have been made aware that there are some unscrupulous sellers of our ammunition on various internet auction sites. They claim to be selling new genuine COR®BON ammunition, however they are horrible RELOADS!
They are using OLD brass and unknown bullets and powder, claiming it to be ours. It is packaged in rounds of 25, with foam trays and a white box. We only sell our ammo in 20 or 50 round boxes packaged in genuine COR®BON product marked boxes.
Please be very careful where you buy your ammo. Reloaded ammo can be dangerous, especially if it comes from an unknown source. You have no idea of their quality control, and how the powder charge was calculated and pressure tested. Also be weary of purchasing your ammo at scalper’s prices! We have not raised our prices! Even though we have a backlog of orders, we will continue to take your order. We do not charge your credit card until your order is shipped. If you have been on our backorder list we will email you when your product is ready to ship. COR®BON is making every attempt to fill our customer orders safely and timely, considering the current overwhelming demand. We appreciate your loyalty and patience.

Thanks. I was going to order a box of hot .45 Colt from them to use in my Bond. I called Bond and asked about it for bear/hog/gator SD. The guy said, "Well, we don't reccomend it...but, its a lot of fun, and the worst that will happen is that maybe both barrels will fire, and again, a lot of fun". ;D My kind of people.
