Title: The Iron Lady Said Goodbye
Post by: crusader rabbit on April 08, 2013, 07:52:11 AM
Margaret Thatcher died after a stroke at age 87.

She was a staunch ally of President Reagan, and a wise opponent of socialism.

Her later years were marked by advancing Alzheimer's and other deteriorating conditions.

RIP, Maggy.  You've earned it.

Sadly, those of character, honor, principles, and a true passion for the greater good are leaving us.

Lady Thatcher was one of those.....

May she be remembered with all the due respect she rightly deserved. She smacked a firm hand of reality to the party that ran th British Isle into practical ruin in the late 70's...early 80's.

and she spanked liberals/socialists.....

She "did hit the right nail",....
