Sweet lord, not even Patton would wear this uniform. What do they get those medals for? Going three whole months without catching the clap? Do they not have mirrors in NK to make them feel silly? Oh well, it will provide good aiming points. ;D

No mirrors. Just pictures of Dear Leader.

The comments make a good point .
All those medals in an army that has not seen combat since 1953 ?
The must be for suppressing dissidents .
Bad "scale armor" is the only other possibility .

actually, it seems like every 2 or 3 months these little zips sink a SK vessel, shell an SK island or kidnap some South Koreans. some of that must be worth some kind of medal... right? right?
so anyone wanna bet on how long it takes to liberate the population?
D.

Those aren't medals, they are cameo portraits of Un.

Look at the economics of it...
A decent meal is going to set the NorKor government back a couple of bucks, anyway.
They can punch out these medals for a cent or two each.
A meal gives short term satisfaction while a medal gives a lifetime of pride.
And, as has been pointed out above, it gives something to aim at.
Sheesh, what maroons!
