Hi;

     Getting refunds from the Fed, State, Local and School Tax.....  The Tax Preparer said that it is @ 14 days now to get the refund(s) into the checking account. I can not go to the annual reunion this year, so I'll use it for the different house projects that need to be taken care of.

I was at about 15% of taxable...but I didn't work for seven months of 2012 either...  Both CT and MA clipped me for several hundred as well!

I paid everybody this year, the same as the last twenty!  I too don't give the .gov a plug nickle more than I have to..

I dropped the checks to state and fed .gov in the mailbox yesterday.  At the main Post Office of course.  Paid more than I wanted to that's for sure.  Cashed out some retirement funds before the plan went broke to pay off the house.  .gov's dinged me more than I had anticipated.
