I liked Keith when he was on ESPN. But once he tried acting like Edward Murrow inflated with hate, it didn't take long to flip the channel and get away from his crap.

I don't have a problem with him saying what he does, I despise the low life POS but he has every right to do it. The problem I have is that he calls himself a journalist and refuses to refer to himself as a commentator (MSNBC won't as well); he's totally convinced he's reporting facts. As he said "the only thing I am politically, is correct", that kind of arrogance and the bias of the networks is appalling to put it lightly (extremely sarcastic understatement). Edward R Murrow, a man who he considers his idol, would have despised him with equal passion.
Brings me to one of the reasons why I like Glenn Beck, he refuses to call himself a journalist and corrects anyone who calls him that.

I wonder what will happen when PRESIDENT Bush leaves office (emphasis added for MS. Olberman). They have stockpiled tons of hate and it will have to go somewhere. We know it will not be aimed at our fantastic congress (Have you seen the gas prices since the dems have had control of our legislative branch). Those of you who think holding your nose and voting McCain will stem the tide, the Lord and I love ya but it ain't gonna happen. Sometimes you have to tear down a house so you can build a new one.

Not to completely hijack this thread, but oil companies, today’s congress and/or the current president have little to do with the price of gas. More to do with past congressional failure in not allowing oil companies to produce more domestic product and with global demand going through the proverbial roof.
I do like your analogy or cliché on the home deconstruction. To this, if you have a solid business reason for “tearing your house down”, fine. But would you tear down an “OK” house to live in a tent with Obama for four to eight years until your new house is built?
If you want to weigh in on McCain v Obama and “deconstruction theory”, you might want to check out the thread on Barr running for president.

No, but I would burn a mansion if that was what it took to get rid of the rats and roaches. I would live in a hole in the ground ( foxhole) to rid the country of the Obama's Hillery's, Olberman's Bloombergs and other VERMIN.
PS. He's right about the Barr thread, this post is a cross over to the discussion we are having there.

Thanks for the heads up. Yes, I know the reality of the gas prices. I just like throwing that out there to twist a knife in a common goosestepping lib. I said it here tongue n cheek. As for the Bob Barr thread I have not yet read it, but if it is what I think it is, that is what I was refering to (if that makes any sense at all). McCain has one or two things that make him palatable, other than that he is Obama/Hillary lite. The next four to eight years I am expecting a S@#% Storm. I would much rather have the Leftists be left to blame, not a person that could be labeled a conservative (notice labeled not actual). Trust me. If McCain is elected and he steps out on the Global warming plank he and Newt are so fond of, when it turns out bad for the country, where is that blame going to land? A perfect example is the recent dustup about Bush and his remarks before the Knesset. The media was more than happy to be a sounding board for Barry and his minions as they whine about foreign soil and politics without a peep of Nancy P. et. al. as they go abroad to slander the President. This country, as great as it is, has some enormous problems. If they are not solved, we will be the next Britain. A hundred years ago, they had a great empire. Now they are just an island with no guns, afraid to stand up to the extremist Muslims in their own country. IMHO the real political debate in the country was between the Republicans and the Libertarians. The Republicans have remove themselves from the debate leaving only the Libertarians (Bob Barr). I say this knowing full well that Mr. Barr is a recent convert to the path of light which is a whole other discussion.
All this being said, I understand the reality of the situation. A third party vote cound elect a senator with no idea what is going on. You pick the senator. Just remember, Heros bleed. No action taken in defense of ideals whether physical (thank you ladies and gentlemen of the armed forces) or mental is without negative consequences.
I now relenquish my soapbox to the floor. I have to go read a Bob Barr thread.

Olbermann is a complete tool. And a democrat shill at that. I quit the video after 2 minutes - could not stomach this guy, have seen him before. He desperately needs something upside his head to bring him back to his faculties.

There is no reply b/c this is business as usual for Olbermann (D). You should watch his show sometime (for the interest of "Know your enemy"). But I warn you..... you might end up throwing your remote control at the TV! My wife gets really pissed when I watch his show - its the only time that I literally yell at the TV.
