An eighth-grade student in West Virginia was reportedly arrested and suspended last week after getting into an argument with his teacher about a National Rifle Association T-shirt he wore to school.
WOWK-TV reports that Jared Marcum faces charges of obstruction and disturbing the education process for refusing to change the shirt, which shows a rifle and the slogan, "protect your right."
Jared told the station the he was punished by officials at Logan Middle School after arguing about the shirt with his teacher, who reportedly objected to the image of the gun on the shirt.

If you would like to contact school administrators:

I have known many outstanding and dedicated teachers. They were true professionals whose only desire was to provide the best possible education with no political agenda attached. Over the years, I've witnessed the wretched decline in both the substance and quality of the public school system. I know I'm preaching to the choir here... but every time I see a report like this it just makes me sick... and angry. Why can't we have education without indoctrination?

Because you allow public employees to unionize.
Education is controlled by the NEA and they like most unions are basically a communist front organization.

Didn't SCOTUS rule on this very situation a few years ago? The NRA and a few other organizations bankrolled a suit against a school that told a HS student he couldn't wear a "NRA Sports" shirt. No guns, no violence just that logo with those words nothing else.
