Title: Every day carry
Post by: Strider on April 25, 2013, 07:12:01 PM
Like the commercial that asks "what's in your wallet?" I was wondering what is your daily load out.
Here is one sat of two. Depending on my mood and if I am teaching a particular course.

This is pretty much the basic EDC  for me. I might change it up for a " barbecue"  but that is a rarity.

I'll have to do an "ensemble" picture.   Nowhere near as heavy artillery as you guys.

I  will probably transition up to either the Sig C3  or one of my government models in the future, but for now the "baby" is  the lightest I have become  comfortable with.  The wife has to weigh in on the Sig before I can claim it to myself.

Dan...What, no flashlight?

PS:  FWIW You might look for a knife sheath for your spare mag.

I have been shopping for the right light, just haven't settled on one yet. Generally we don't leave the home at dark, but when we do there is a 4 D cell maglight with. Bedside has about 3 lights in easy reach with others placed throughout the house. The mag will be getting a new home on either my belt or a pocket protector. I'm trying to work out a kydex one piece with a thumb push.

Two is one, one is none.  ;)  ;D  ;D  ;D

I have been known in the winter months, such as they are down here, to have no less than three firearms on my person...along with the various cutlery items.......never know when you might have to cut a piece of string.

I don't rattle...... yet....... but sometimes I do click and squeak (that's when the 3-in-1 oil gets called on).   ;D

muzzle flash should be sufficient as a back up, especially with the ten, twelve guns he carries.. or three, whatever.

Actually, I have one on my keychain and a backup stays on the console of my pick-up.... and one on the bedside table.  ;)

Hey, I can't outrun 'em............

As a side note, I don't really look at the NAA Mini .22 as a "back-up" gun....... I mainly keep it to dispatch reptiles if they make a sudden appearance....... and yes, CCI Snakeshot in the little gun will kill a snake.

Stop pickin on Pegleg(much as he might have it coming, hehehe). I am old and beat up as well so I can't run. Gotta have a bunker mentality when that happens. Seriously, I have a little Khar p-380 as a backup that I just did not have a pic of when I posted. In the winter months(such as they are), I add a TLR-1 light to the Glock.
