Title: Gun crime down Americans believe it is up.

Thought this was a very good article. Minus a couple things. Like the reduction of lead in gas attributing to decrease in crime. There are a very similar articles one in USA today that shows a graph and such but ill post the LA Times article that is gaining steam.

It’s unclear whether media coverage is driving the misconception that such violence is up. The mass shootings in Newtown, Conn., and Aurora, Colo., were among the news stories most closely watched by Americans last year, Pew found. Crime has also been a growing focus for national newscasts and morning network shows in the past five years but has become less common on local television news.

Let me know if the link doesn't work. Sometimes when linking from mobile device it doesn't work right. Also I think a very valid question can be asked now. Why the push for gun control? The Obama politics being played is being proven left and right to be all lies. And here is the USA today bit.
