I just heard a good one on the local news. Colorado Senate President John Morse, is under a recall effort due to his displayed hatred of his constituents who are gun owners. He sold out gun owners throughout the state, but only registered voters in his district can sign the petition for recall. The effort was not doing well in collecting signatures so the NRA joined the fight. They just played a news clip of Morse crying about the new boost to the recall because "outside money" is coming from the NRA. Funny John, when citizens who support gun rights send their own money to the NRA its outside money. Yet when you and the rest of the state legislature bend over for a wealthy elitist from New York, and tax payer funded drive by idiot Uncle Joe, you saw no problem with it. You ignored your own citizens, and the majority of Colorado's elected Law Enforcement leaders, and did the bidding of Micheal Bloomberg. So if we get money from all corners of the earth to end your political career, well all is fair in love, war, and politics.
Rest assured even if you are not recalled, the landscape in the Senate will be vastly different than the "love fest" you seemed to enjoy during the great sell out of Colorado gun owners. Oh that's right, you think we have a "sickness in our souls" and you of course, know whats good for us. No John Morse, its a brand new day. >:(

Makes a difference who's "outside money" it is .
If it comes from a pro rights group it's bad, but if it comes from a psychotic control freak then it's OK.

He might make a different discrimination. If the outside money helps him, it is good money...from the NRA or not. And if it hurts him, it's bad money, no matter where that comes from either.
No doubt if the NRA sent him a contribution and an endorsement, he'd be crowing about how superior an organization the NRA is.
