I just caught the last few minutes of Glenn Beck's address to the NRA members via the live webcast on NRA.org . Wow! If you can get ahold of a rebroadcast, its worth a listen. I'm sure it will show op on youtube or the NRA site.

He put last years up too somewhere on CNN so maybe we can catch it there too pretty soon, and all last week he sent out letters from Bobby Jindel, Wayne LaPierre, and John McCain about the second amendment. Reminds me, I still haven't read them yet.

I would love for everyone to have been able to be at the NRA Convention so that they could have heard Glenn Beck first hand.
His speech was not all about guns and the 2nd amendment.. it was about America and family and love of God. it was about pride and common sense. It was about everything that America should be thinking about.
If I could put up the direct link to his speech, I would, but I can't decode the properties of it to do it..
so I'll have to guide you through it this way.
It's just a few steps and not to hard and it is so worth it!
Go to this website. ( You will immediately hear the live radio of the NRA. ..but you can stop this by pushing the stop button on the player.)

Go to the right side of the page and in the box that says ARCHIVED MATERIALS.....
Then click on the................ Browse Archives
On the menu, click on 2008 NRA Annual Meeting. Then go to page 2 of the 4 pages.
There on page 2 you will click on the "Members Banquet".
This will take you into the video of the banquet.
To listen to Glenn Beck take your slider and "fast forward" with it until you see Glen...because there is a few speakers on this same section. Stop it there and set back and get ready to hear one heck of a speech.
It is not on U-tube or anywhere else yet.
You just don't want him to stop..Listening to him, I am memorized by his words.
Please...Please... Please take the time to listen to this.
You will not regret it!

I watched it yesterday, took a little while to find because while one the newsletter he said you have to do some digging he didn't give you the name of the video. He did a great job! I also thought Bobby Jindal's was worth listening too.

Yes he was.. There is lots on that website that I like. I try to wait to go into it when I am kind of caught up on my work.. or I find I am in there for hours.. :-[

My wife who is not known to be politically active by any stretch was up giving him a standing "O" and cheering, it was that good of a speech. Now I want to read his book, and I've never listened to him or watched him on CNN. (I never watch anything on CNN)

The Glenn Beck show is the only show Marshal'ette and I watch on CNN. We TiVo it every night at 11:00PM Central.
I "discovered" Glenn Beck by accident about a year ago and it was a surprise to find someone with his conservative and independent thoughts on this channel.

Thank you again Marshal'ette! I did have to pause after my holy grail quest (per your instructions), for the segment on Mr. Heston.
That made me proud of a country that isn't on the news, and one that I wish my Grandfather were alive to put in his .02 cents worth. He had a clarity. Kind of like the "box of chocolates" thing,...
